Andrew Short - Vice Chair of Governors
I have two boys, both of whom are at St James. I am a solicitor with over 10 years' experience in commercial litigation and crisis management. I feel passionate about the vital role that St James plays in enriching our children's early years, providing them with learning opportunities and supporting the wider community. As a governor, I am delighted to be able to work with the staff, parents and children to help St James fulfil this amazing potential as we emerge from a very challenging period for the school.

I am currently a full time mum to my two sons, with the youngest one currently in the juniors at St James. I was elected as a parent governor in the summer of 2019, and am the governor for EYFS/Reception and for Special Educational Needs and Disability. I have lived in Weybridge for nearly 10 years and love how a local school like St James builds a community around the whole family.
